Spring Cleaning!

P.S. this may be the longest blog entry in America...... :)
Well, so in the past month, I have gotten some burr under my behind and decided it was time for SPRING CLEANING! Yes, I know it is a tad bit early, but what can I say! Bless Brian, he had to stay with the motto.... "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" I had wonderful help from him...... I couldn't have done all of this with out him! (Thank you B! You are the best! I love you!) By the end of the 4 weeks of cleaning, cleaning OUT, painting, throwing away, recycling ....B looked at me and said "Stace, there are easier ways to kill me, you know?" Bless his heart!!! We have been exhausted, but I feel a lot better about getting things done. Don't get me wrong I still have LOTS to accomplish, but at least those projects can be after work one night! Needless to say that is why I haven't blogged lately or even added to my pictures!

What have we done you ask? We have painted 2 bedrooms, a hallway, cleaned out 4 closets and the attic. We have bought and put together furniture for our study and a bookcase for our hallway! I found 73dollars in our cleaning out, and treated us to dinner! ;) But like I said, I have several under the sinks to go through and a few piles that can't seem to quit growing! I am proud of us and if I can boast a minute, I think the rooms look professionally done!!! BUT we can not be bought, we will not come to your house to clean out your attic or paint your bedrooms! ha!!

Below are some pictures that have happened over the past 4 weeks of chaos and fun......they are somewhat out of order, but just try to picture it...... :)

Sophe watching us come IN & OUT of the bedroom that we were painting! I am sure she was like "seriously ya'll, can you QUIT making so much noise?!" :)

I sat down to dinner at our dining table on Sunday night and looked up and it was like singing angels!!! My Pineapple Plant is having a Pineapple! :) I was so excited! A friend of mine gave this to me after her Hawaiian themed wedding and 3 years later, I AM HAVING A PINEAPPLE! I used to know how to say "I am a Pineapple" in French, but that was in high school......ha!!!

This is the Underseas Bedroom. I don't like the bedspread with it, so I am on the hunt for a cutie one! Once I get it all pretty-ed up, I will post another picture!!! But I do love the color!!!

We were so excited that this was the LAST ROOM of the house we had to paint..... I wanted to make a "sign" before we painted over it! ;) This is the Underseas room!

This is the Cavern Clay room. I really really really love this color, it is so calming and has such a warm feeling. I think I am going to start making B & I sleep in that room! ;)

This is the hallway between both guest bedrooms. We painted it the same color as our living room & kitchen. It is Empire Gold. I also love this color too!!! As a side note, The Sunflower picture was painted for me, by my brother John! I love it and I think it looks great now with an Empire Gold background!!

This was the first night of the Cavern Clay room. B & I didn't have enough rollers, so I had gone around all the doors and windows with the paint brush and I was done, so I didn't really have a job, so I grafftti'd the room with LOVE TO BRIAN!!! :) I did make him laugh really hard, so it was WELL worth it!

Also this month I got to spend a Monday night with my friend Audra & her sweet little girl, Whitten, while Daddy, Marty was in class for the night! We ate dinner and talked and talked, then we took a bath and look at those sweet jammies that Whitten got to sleep in that night...She is the sweetest!!!!

MY BUTTERCUPS ARE UP AND BLOOMING IN FEBURARY!!!!!!!!! I am not really sure how I feel about that!!!!!!!!! But they are pretty and smell so good! I believe these are my favorite flowers!!!!!

We got to spend a few hours this past Friday night with our friends Amy & Joe. Amy is ~7months pregnant and cute as a Bug In A Rug! They are getting Miss Brooklyn's room ready and we got to see the new paint job! It is awesome! She said once it was ready I could come "document" it with my pictures! This coming weekend (Feburary 28th, all the girls from Paris are giving her a shower! So, there will be another blog Sunday!). But anyways, Amy & Joe thought they had to bribe or "bride" (I wrote that in an email to Amy -I am such a spelling freak!) us with pizza to come to "fix" her computer, which was already fixed when we got there! We had a great time!! Thank you for the Pizza guys!! Love you too!!!
