Christmas in February in Paris! 2025

This will be a year to remember for the Petrie Christmas!

November was a busy month for Momma and Dana with surgeries. And I said “ok let’s do Christmas on Martin Luther King Day weekend!” We planned and was so excited for a long weekend ! Pierce was planning fishing with Papa to recreate the picture at the end! Ha! And Lo and behold. Pierce got the flu! I had even gone to

Paris to prep for us coming! Whew! THEN we said we would go to Paris on February 1st and have a shorter weekend. THEN I GOT THE FLU!! We planned for February 7th weekend! And we WOULD NOT TALK ABOUT IT!!! We would all say “well since we ARE NOT going then it will be fine” Ha! Even Gaga was like “I sure hope you are going to have a celebration this weekend that we are not talking about!” Ha!!

But we did it!! It was tooooooo fast! But Pierce got to

Fish some! It was so chilly there was no remake of the picture but maybe this Spring!

Papa kept saying “Merry Christmas and Happy Valentines Day!”

Reid did something new this year! I was so proud of him! He was in his element really! He was tired after a lot of after school practices but he was chosen as the Costume Manager and had 3 parts in the play! He was the sun, the boulder and the cake! We watched all 3 shows and it was so funny and cute!! The songs were stuck in my head for days!! So proud of all the kids!!
