Lost Keys!

Yesterday, after loading the boys into my truck from daycare, I am buckling Pierce into his seat...
I get done and I suddenly realize I can't find my keys!
I start to panic.
I literally turned in a circle.
I knew I had GOTTEN into the car, because I had to unlocked it to put the boys in....
so, I start saying   "what have I done with the keys? I have no pockets on my jacket - they aren't in there, they aren't on the ground around the truck, they are not in the floor board"
P was saying "down" and I absent mindedly said  "we will get down when we get home"
and he was so persistent saying "DOWN!"
and I really looked over at him and he was pointing to the built in cup holders in the truck.
---there were the keys!
He was trying to tell me the whole time where they were!
He is ALREADY having to take care of me.... Bless his heart....I'm losing it!  :)

Sweet.....

Really a sweet moment... I thought....

Better cherish these times now because before I know it they will REALLY be trying to rip each others heads off.

Houdini

This perfectly sweet face, with a very bad hair day....

MET me in the hallway this morning saying "Heeeeeey!"

I heard his door open but thought it was the unit kicking on popping the door or that Sophie had pushed it open and was going in there to harass P....

NOPE!  It was Mr. Pierce!  

I looked at him, threw my hands to my mouth and started laughing hysterically.  He just stared at me!  

I immediately picked him up, and put him back in the bed and said "Show Mommy how you got out!" 

He attempted but never succeeded!  

Our peaceful mornings of him playing in the bed with his "Vrooms" are possibly over!  

HA!

have different uses around our house these days! 

Santa brought P this tool box and "utensils" for Christmas last year!

See those perfectly good pliers?

Well, they are also considered a flat iron to Pierce on some occasions!  

One afternoon he walks up to me and and starts running the pliers through my hair, it immediately hit me that he is using them as a flat iron, after watching Mommy here, get ready!  

Pretty funny huh?

Fall Happies!

Zoo Boo 2012

 Zoo Boo 2012 was our first Zoo Boo!  

We had a fun time!  We took just Pierce!  ;)  He was watching people LIKE CRAZY!!!  ;)  and we ran into friends all over the place!  :)  

 Singing Pumpkin Patch!!

 Bon Lin Elementary 1st grade students decorated buckets!  ;) 

 Waiting on the Choo Choo that we ended up not riding!  

 We saw Mackenna from daycare!  :) 

and we saw Tim, Laura and the twins and I was too busy visiting and chasing after the 2 year old that I didn't get a picture!  :(

Pumpkin Patch Fun!!!

Right down the road from our house is a Pumpkin and Tree Farm, Priddy Farms!  We decided to take the boys last night....and had such a good time!  P did NOT want to leave, period!  :) It was beautiful weather too!  ;)

 Pumpkins galore! 

P wouldn't sit down long enough for me to get BOTH the boys together!  So, they are separate and I am OK with that!  :)

One the funniest things that happened and Brian and I both were not fast enough to get it on camera....was that we said "P help us pick out our pumpkins for the front porch" and he stops, puts his finger to his chin and says as he is scanning the big place of pumpkins and says "Hummmmm"  Like, "let me see"  :)
What is he, 30?  ;)

 P had fun picking a pumpkin out, when he wasn't distracted by all the tractors! ;)  He kept picking up pumpkins without stems....he liked those better!  so, that is what we got!  ;)
