SummerTime Get Away!!!

The boys and I raced to Paris on Friday afternoon (6/24/16) and stayed til Tuesday (6/28/16).... the boys had been begging to get in the pool! And did we EVER get in the pool.... 5 days in a row!! Thank you Papa and Nona for having us and our confusion!! It was a laid back, good visit! I HATED to see it end!!!!! WE love you so much!!!

So, we have had these Bryan hot dogs FOREVER! They were part of some Food Show decorations! When Papa got them out for Pierce and Reid - Uncle John and I were AMAZED at how little they were! HAHAHA! Guess that happens to you when you get old!! :) #kidsoffoodbusiness

Sunday afternoon (6/26/16), we got to go to Uncle John's friend, Mr. Will's dairy barns! They were so excited to see where milk came from! They KNEW milk came from cows but had never seen the process! It was amazing! The cows know what time to come up and get milked! and they move into the stalls when the groups ahead of them are finished! Mr. Will was a great tour guide! :) I loved it! The cows are like big dogs! They each have their own registered name! So, cool!!! and the regulations that go along with it are INSANE! Alllllll milk is antibiotic free! Will said, when some one says milk has antibiotics in it, they are WRONG! because they have to throw out the milk from treated cows! Anyways... fun fact for ya! :)

Again, Thank you so much Papa and Nona for feeding us for 5 days, for keeping the pool ready for us for 5 days, for letting us go to bed WAY to late for 5 days and for letting us just have as much fun as possible in 5 days!!!

Mother of the Year!

First night of swim lessons....I dress Pierce at his school....I discover not only does he have one of HIS flip flops but he also has ONE of MY flip flops....AND they are both the LEFT feet! Bless him, he was a true sport and just went with the flow! He almost busted it like 40 times going into swim....but he didn't.... he made it and the next nights I got it right! What kills me is his feet are NOT much smaller than mine!

They have had such fun!

Their teacher is Miss Kendall! She is a sweetie! She lets them talk a blue streak! Except one night she said "ya'll quit chatting and get to swimming or we are never going to make it across this pool!" ha!!!

Side funny story:
I was afraid Reid wouldn't dress pretty for the testing....we didn't want him to just be in his play clothes! well, he surprised us and GOT HIMSELF dressed that morning. I had laid it out and thought it might be a fight! but NO! I was so proud! THEN that afternoon, we went to the splash pad. As I was undressing Reid and I noticed he didn't have underwear on! I said "REID, what happened to your underwear!?" and he just gave me this SURPRISED face! and my mind was just running trying to figure out what had happened and why maybe MJ didn't mention it to me....THEN I remembered, HE GOT HIMSELF DRESSED THAT MORNING! HE didn't put on underwear! He had gone COMMANDO ALLLLL DAY!!! hahahahahah! :)
