Forgotten Footage!

This morning, while rocking P, I all of a sudden remembered!
"Oh no! There are pictures on my baby camera from the Ocean Springs Christmas that never made it on the blog!!"
And the more I thought about it, I thought "no, these pictures deserve a blog post of their own"

One afternoon, Brian, Jason and I ran out for a snack and a beverage!

When we finished, Jason asked "Stacy, have you ever seen the jail, the springs or the biggest tree ever?"
Me: "ummmm, nope. don't believe I have!"
B: "SURE YOU HAVE, I have taken you before"
Me: "nope, I'm pretty sure I would have remembered those things"

B was convinced that he had showed me, I was well aware he HADN'T and J was just excited to be the one to show me!

I was totally amazed by the Ruskin Tree! I just stood there in Awe most of the time!

- Thank you J for showing me parts of Ocean Springs I have never seen in the 13 years I have been coming there! (I am still giving B a hard time about that!) ;)

Coughing and Banana Popsicles!

2 things P has learned while we have been sick:
to cover his mouth when he coughs! It is rather cute!
and that he loves Banana Popsicles!

Sickly House

This past week and currently, we are a sickly house....P has been WAY under the weather and without GrandMom P's help, Mommy here, would have been crazy, because poor B had to be in Birmingham all week for work (he felt AWFUL, but it couldn't be helped, but we missed him) and now......Mommy is sick this AM. YAY for winter time.....the purpose in me telling you this, is that there has not been ANY pictures recently and until we get back on track of feeling well, there probably won't be!

Pierce is 13months OLD (yesterday - 1/2/12)

Accomplishments and Amazement's!

• 2 new teeth! The eye teeth! They are poking through right now!
• Speaking of teeth, you get so excited when I get the toothbrush and toothpaste out! I hope that continues! ;)
• You still get so excited about bath time!
• You still LOVE animals! You really enjoyed meeting Cousin Riley this holiday season! and she was so good to you!
  
• You pucker your lips when you say "Ohhhhhh" They are the cutest squishy lips!!!
  
• You are really talking more; just trying to tell us what you are thinking! Like tonight, we were enjoying the Turtle Night Light that Uncle John & Dana gave you (it projects the stars in constellations and the moon ALL over the room, it is quite addicting! Click Here to see a Blog write up about it!) and you would point to the turtle then point to the walls and ceiling continuously talking! :)
• You are practically running!
• You crack me up with some of your facial expressions. I think some of the things you are learning from the girls at Daycare, because a face you made tonight make me instantly think of Kendall! :)
• You still love outside! When you think we are going outside you just clap and scream like no other!!!
• You are giving the BEST High Five's!!! Now Daddy is just working on Fist Bumps! :)
• You love you some magnets on the frig too! :)

The below pictures are a "Challenge" that Jenn & Jason came up with on the way back to the coast from Pierce's birthday! The Brian Baumeister Crew didn't get it together to make anything and then when they saw what The Jason Baumeister Crew & The Bill Baumeister Crew made; the maiden of the Brian Baumeister Crew was GLAD she didn't get it together! :)
but....ok, so you could only use certain items (as chosen by the Maiden of The Bill Baumeister Crew) = (paper, felt, tin foil, buttons, wood and wire), have one bought item of 10dollars or less and one secret item!

Then, The Bill Baumeister Crew presented The Brian Baumeister Crew with a Family Shield! Along with the neatest scroll of history on the Baumeister name and the men before Pierce!
as you can see: Felt is the background, buttons with tin foil on them to shine, wire to hang it with, wood to hold of the crest, wood to hold the shield! :)
I was thoroughly impressed!!
- Then The Bill Baumeister Crew presented The Jason Baumeister Crew with a wooden box (again no picture) with the letter B made on it! Very CUTE!

- - -all I can say, is a creative bunch o' people! :)

I only made it to about 1130 on 12/31/11. I think this is the first year that I have NOT seen the ball drop, even last year I was up for a feeding to see it drop! :) Oh well..... there are many more to come.....

We had SUCH a great Holiday! We were all over the map but we loved it!! We enjoyed our visits with everyone so much! Thank you all for making it so special for us!!!
