What a great Christmas! We REALLY missed our family but enjoyed having Santa at our house and watching how excited P got! We got to FaceTime/Skype with ALL Grandparents and even Uncle John & Dana for a minute! and Daddy P said "man, how time has changed when Momma & Daddy (his Mom and Dad) would call and wish us a Merry Christmas it was strictly on the phone, but now...you can SEE one another!"
We are SO thankful!!!

Christmas Eve!

Before going and looking at Christmas lights tonight, P posed for Mommy in front of the tree (and yes, my tree has no ornaments this year....you can only do what you can do, right?)
And isn't he cute in his PJ's from Aunt VV??
"Santa Rocks" is right P, you just remember that! ;)

After Christmas lights, we came home and got Milk and Cookies ready for Santa!
P was helping me put them on the plate when all of a sudden he decided, "nope, this would be better for me to eat" and promptly started gnawing on it! :)
Sorry, Santa, P got the 1st cookie! :)

and now we wait as sugar plums dance in our heads.....

****Side Note: tonight we went to a house where they sync all their lights to music, and we THINK we got P on video saying 'Whoa!' :) He loved the Christmas lights! and all the traffic surrounding the house! :)

The Best Seat In the House!

P decided to use the car seat that is going in Daddy's car as his recliner for the day to watch TV!

1 Year Appointment!

Today was the day we went to our 1 year appointment!
He has grown so much! Weighing in at 22 pounds & 11 and 3/4oz! 30 inches long-I feel like that is tall! and healthy ALL around!!!
It was a very good appointment until the dreaded S-H-O-T-S! :( He was a very big boy and did not cry that much!
We LOVE Dr. Zeibarth! :)

But one UP swing to the day was Mommy let P ride facing FORWARD for the 1st time! He was in shock not saying much at first, and then started pointing everywhere!
and yes, that is a cow print car seat! Mommy here, is tired of being so d$mn practical and WENT for it!

This morning before we left the garbage men came and this was Mr. Curious watching them out the window!
It was so sweet!

Pierce is busting out....

with "Uh oh!" when he drops things and even when he doesn't! :)
and he is making the PERFECT "Brrrrrbrrrr" sound when pushing his tractors or trucks around!

Santa said "Momma, I don't think he is going to stay in my lap for love or money!"

Celebration Station!

Saturday (12/3/11) was the big celebration with cake, presents and BALLOONS! Mrs Brenda said that she was going to have TONS of balloons when we came to visit at Christmas because P LOVES them! :)

We had lunch, opened presents and had some delicous cake (Cake Courtsey of Jerry Joyner - EVERY ONE has to have a Jerry Joyner cake in their lifetime)! Pierce was extremely shy during the "open presents" time, but didn't cry, just clung to me the whole time!!! and I even made a "Photo Booth" area!! :) I took over 200 pictures (some of those done by Uncle Jason & Aunt Jenn - Thank you guys!), so this blog post WILL be long, so BEWARE, ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! :)

It was so fun!! and it was great to have both sides of the family under one roof at one time!!! :)

So, I made a Photo Booth! I think SOME thought it was silly,but I made EVERYONE participate! :) It was fun to see what people did when you weren't looking!!! :) I thought they turned out really good!!! ;)
