Brothers, talking up a storm, drinking huge bottles of water (I told them they were going to pee over the moon! and they laughed really hard!!) IN PEACE!
New things! Our friend Brittany provided Pierce and Reid with some awesome Grizzly Hats! and some other fun things! I got a new hairdryer and you would have thought I had been Santa Claus himself! Reid LOVES it! especially because it is ORANGE!!!!
The boys and I took off for Paris for a few days while Daddy and Uncle Jason slaved away on some projects around our house!
We had a ball! OF COURSE the time FLEW by! That is the part that I dislike the MOST!
The boys got to play, see baby piggies come in and PLAY some more! Papa put them to work with a few things too! ha!
Thank you for letting our confusion come and invade your space for longer than a weekend, Papa and Nona!
We love you so much!!
4/13/16 - 4/17/16
Coming into town the Canola was blooming! It was pure fields of yellow!!!
:)
:) and in this side field, we were riding the gator and rode right over a turkey nest!! Thankfully no one was hurt in the process! The boys were going wild while Papa and I were trying to catch up because we didn't see it!
3 Turkey Eggs!
Wisteria
Then on Thursday we got to see baby pigs being delivered!!
A spotted one!!
The pig whisperer! He didn't stay there long because he was too busy trying to help Uncle John and his co-worker!
Pink EVERYWHERE!
Reid watched from the sidelines with me and Nona!
Uncle John and Pierce!
Then Pierce was ON his own! :)
Then after the semi was unloaded we got to look in the back before he drove off! Looks cozy actually! :)
Driving!
Dirt playing number 1!
The big Orange tank that "sucks up the poop to then put on the field" per Reid's description!
Dairy Queen!
The boys helped me and Papa recover a stool! Safety first!!
Then to Uncle Jerry's to check on animals and play!!
They found their friend Will! They were climbing machines!!
Playing in the cattle trailers!
Friday I got to go with Momma to her Garden Club meeting! It was fun! They met at a local nursery! I was the photographer!
Beautiful area they had created to display their hard work! They grow everything they sell from seed/cuttings!
I had a good time meeting Momma's friends!
Papa put the boys to work that afternoon!!
Hauling!
Then we were BACK at Uncle Jerry's!
It is amazing to me he will have been gone a year in May.
I sure did miss him this visit. I wanted to look up while we were in the yard and see him pass by in his truck or tractors.... have him wave at us and blow the horn OR stop in the middle of the road and talk to us!
I just know he was looking down at us as we enjoyed each others company at his house on his beautiful land!
The family that has always rented from Jerry, still rents there. They are the nicest family! Josh is from Iowa. Carolyn is from New Mexico. They met in the military. Was stationed at Fort Campbell and ended up in Paris. They love it and have stayed! They have become very close to Momma and Daddy and John and Dana. They have two precious little girls, Halle Jo (6) and Josie (3).
The boys made fast friends with them.
and on Saturday Pierce said "can we please go see our friends now at Uncle Jerrys!"
loved it. :)
Then Papa took them for rides around the farm on the Gator!
