Zoo Lights 2012

Tonight we were able to take P to Zoo Lights while GrandMom and GrandDad B watched Reid (Thank you much!)!  P literally ran his legs off and said "Heeeey" to everyone we passed!  We enjoyed it so much!  and it was a pretty night, not too cold and not too warm!  They really do a great job!  Kind of puts you in the holiday spirit!  

 He ran right up to the Reindeer!  Who would have thought? I thought he would have been scared!  ;)

P posing while waiting on Dr. Zeibarth to meet us on Thanksgiving day to check on Reid!  How nice is that right?  What Dr comes to the office on their day off, much less a holiday?  Well, Dr. Zeibarth does! :)  Reid is getting better, ran a fever of 101 for no known reason.  He is still feeling icky, but much better!  And thankfully no trip to the hospital like we originally thought!

Visit with Friends!

Last night we went to Joe & Amy's to have a visit!  

Brooklyn and Pierce ran around like wild indians with Graham just a few steps behind them!

Reid sat with B most of the time just watching and listening!

A Tee......

I see a pattern here... P says "a" (a long "a") before words.....  "A mow, A Tee, A why"

Several mornings ago, he came up to me while I was getting ready for work and brushing my teeth and said "A Tee", after a few minutes I realized he was pointing to his TEETH, he wanted to brush his teeth!
I said "go in there and get Daddy to get your toothbrush and you can stand up in here with me and we will brush our teeth"
He runs in there to B saying "A tee, A Tee, A TEE!!!!!" trying to get him to understand....
B says "we don't have any tea, buddy" 
I scream " HE WANTS TO BRUSH HIS TEETH!"    HA!
He brings his toothbrush back and brushes up a storm with me.
We have done this every morning for about a week now! 
Quite fun! 

and the "A why" - I am not sure what it is.
I thought he might be asking "Why?" but no, he isn't....
I thought he was saying Cry....but no....
He can't point to anything when I say "Show Mommy what you are saying!"
He just KEEPS repeating it and I just keep staring at him....  ;)
One of these days it will come out clear!  ;)

Growing up....

"A Mow"

We have discovered that Pierce calls the lawnmower AND the vacuum a "mow".
This morning he was standing at the study door saying "a mow, a mow".
I remembered that earlier in the week B had the "mow" in the study cleaning up around the window sill and had left it in there.
I said "Oh yes, the vacuum was in there, but Momma put it up yesterday, in the closet where it is supposed to go, where it belongs"
and Pierce looked at me and said "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I seeeeeee" 
I laughed and said "yep, you seeeee, you put things back up where they belong after you are done with them!"
He smiled said "yea" and ran off!
It was quite funny!!!  :)

2 Months!

I couldn't just post 1 picture of that sweet smile, so I am posting 3 of the best ones! :)

Accomplishments and Amazement's!

• At our appt:  Reid weighed in at 11 pounds and 6 oz!  He was 23 inches long!
• Also at our appt: I voiced my concerns that he wasn't coo'ing and ahh'ing like he seems like he should.  Dr. Ziebarth stated that he was not concerned about Reid because he was developing well and was healthy....and then he stated "When you have a talker (aka: Pierce) you have to have a listener (aka: Reid)" :)  I laughed so hard! 
• You seem so laid back! 
• You don't cry much at all, unless you are hungry, tired or wet/dirty!
• You have started to day care full time and adjusting well!
• We have had to start giving you Miralax like we had to Pierce! 
• You have started to smile! 
• Since our appt you are coo'ing more! ;)
• You love to watch your brother!  He loves on you often! 
• You still have spiky hair!  
• Your eyes are still very blue!

Reid - 

You are such an awesome addition to our family!  We are so proud of you!  We have loved every minute we have had with you!  We can't wait for many more minutes! ;)
