3 months!!

Look at that face....just makes you smile doesn't it?
3 months old! I can't believe it!

Things he is doing that amazes me:

• First off, I can't believe he is mine sometimes, just in amazement at that fact!
• Smiling all the time! That is my ultimate favorite part! We get up in the middle of the night and he just SMILES at me, like I am the greatest thing ever! I know that will soon change! ;)
• Coo'ing, Ahh'ing, Gaa'ing a LOT!
• When he is facing outward in my lap he will pull himself up into a sitting position!!
• He is turning on his left side all the time. NO MORE leaving him on the ottoman by himself!
• Spitting so many bubbles he could fill his bathtub!
• Kind of starting to squeal/giggle! I think the full on laugh is coming soon!
  
• Not nearly as fussy as he was in the first days....getting his eating & pooping straightened out helped so much!
• He has had his first cold and first bout with medicine. Then we all 3 ended up on medicine!
• When we had to go to the doctor for his cold, he weighed 11pounds 14oz!
  
• He really knows when you come in the room
• He turns towards us when we call his name

I know there are many more things that he has done, but these are some of the highlights to me! I can't get over how big he has become and how much he has changed. It kind of makes me sad in a way, I don't want him to grow up too fast! Sweetness!

A Sweet Visit....

with THE PIONEER WOMAN! (aka: Ree Drummonds, PDub, PW) at Davis Kidd Bookstore! She is just as pretty in person as she is on the front of the cookbook, with her pretty red hair, green eyes and stylish ways!

She is a celebrity in my world and a few of my friend's worlds (AKA: Court & Les)! I wouldn't have known about her if Court hadn't have gotten me addicited to her, her recipes and her stories about Charlie the Bassett Hound! and on my own I have become addicited to her Photography section. She is a very talented writer, photographer and seems to be a guru of A LOT of things! :)

I was able to get my cookbook signed by her that my Sis-In-Law gave me this year for Christmas!

I was so excited to meet her & get her autograph and on top of that I was able to get my picture with her too!!!

I had texted Momma earlier that night "I don't know what I am going to say to her!!". Mom gave me an "in" by recommending to say: "My Mom is reading your book right now and loves it!" and let me say, PW has a talent, she didn't even hardly look at the cookbook to sign it and it is GORGEOUS! Such pretty handwriting! ;) and then I just started babbling like a crazy person about Charlie, the Tractor Wheels Story online, Thanking her for coming....she probably was like "Ooo, this one's a crazy one, I better watch out" but instead she said "You are adorable!" The picture flashed, I said "Have a great weekend!" and I was off center stage with her!

It was fun! and there were some ladies that I really thought they might pee in there pants after getting to talk to her! It was all really funny and heart warming!

AND an added BONUS! SHE BROUGHT MARLBORO MAN!!! I was able to get a few snap shots of him while a MOB of women were ALL over him to get their picture with him! He was such a good sport! and Thank you Court & Leslie for your awesome responses to my text of "MARLBORO MAN IS HERE!!!!" ;)

Thank you B for keeping P while I went out and oogled over Marlboro Man and got a quick pic with PW!

It was a great Friday night and a great way to start a weekend! :)

Not So Wordless Wednesday Snow Day!!!

Cardinal!

Pierce has had so many snow days already in his life! I believe it has been at least 5, counting today! Some of them might have just been flurries in the sky, but I still count them! :)
Even though it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to get home tonight, I was so glad to get here with Pierce. B met us in the garage, so excited to see us safe and sound at home. We have been snuggly warm since we took our pictures this afternoon! Just wish we could sleep-in in the morning and stay in our jammiers all day! ;)

Today when I went to pick Pierce up from daycare, MJ tells me that one of the little girls that is in daycare with Pierce, Addie....her parents work at Kohl's and they brought each child the dog from The Grinch! SO SWEET! :)

Hoot Hoot! I have laughed all day with Pierce when I put this on him! and he will just look up at me like "what is wrong with this lady?" :) I got a wild hair and made this today, 2 patterns combined! ha! :)

Stupidity of a Parent....

so Brian & I got brave the other night and was like "let's go out to eat!" Our first restaurant outing with P! :) We get all loaded up in the car.....we get to the edge of the subdivision and I say "we forgot the diaper bag!" We laughed so hard, promptly turned around and went back to get it! We could just see with our luck, Pierce would have a blow out and we wouldn't have any diapers! ha!! So, our first of MANY stupid moves, I am sure..... :)
