anyways.....B had a conference in LA.....I tagged along. We went to Disneyland and got to stay on the beach for a couple of nights.....it was a really great trip! and on top of that my parents got to keep P! They LOOKED fantastic yesterday when they brought him back! I honestly thought they would look WHIPPED! ;) They had their little routine down pat!
We were so thankful for their help!
Momma & Daddy - Thank you so much for keeping P and being so good to him!!!

our first stop (before Disney) was their local grocery store to get my FAVORITE chips in the world!! We found these on our honeymoon in 2003 in Napa. We have NEVER been able to find then ANYWHERE but out there! Just plain ole plain ole but OH SO GOOD! :)

Phineas and Ferb do a dance like party when they come out in their car! Music blasting EVERYWHERE! and as we were walking up on the mob of people watching them, there was a janitor gentlemen sweeping up and jamming out! Dancing and singing along with Phineas and Ferb! I laughed so hard! It was so funny! ANY age can have fun @ Disney, no matter what!!!

It is ALL projected on water with different lights and music!
Just simply AMAZING!
Start of my Birthday Day!
My Birthday Hat! ;) and with my pin!
Disney gives you a pin on your birthday and ALL day long you get people yelling out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" and I said a lot: "today REALLY is my birthday!" :)
and on my birthday afternoon we headed to the beach....

The Pier!
Gorgeous weather!
Cleaning fish station ON the pier!
The Strand! a 26 mile walkway along the beaches! You saw EVERYTHING on there....rollerbladers, skate boarders, bikers, runners, walkers, dogs, we even saw one cat on a porch of one of the houses! Insanely expensive houses at that!
This is a BOOT CAMP on the beach! I was like THANK GOODNESS there is NO BEACH near when I start the boot camp in Memphis in a couple of weeks! I'll keep you posted if I can move afterward! I am doing this Boot Camp with a few girls from work! Eek! ;)
Yep, no wet suit! I don't know how this water didn't take their breathe away!
John Deere tractors in a WHOLE new form than what I am used too!

Two restaurants/bars right by our hotel! I am sorry, the Poopdeck makes me laugh!!
Yes, I am sitting on the beach with a SWEATER on and you can't see my legs but I had a towel over me like a blanket! It was 65 degrees! the wind was blowing like CRAZY and let me just say there were SURFERS out EVERYWHERE! The water was a CHILLY 60 degrees in and of itself! Eek! and some had wet suits on and others did NOT! The sun did come out later on, and I did fall asleep on the beach! I got a little wind burned and a few places of sun burn! INSANE! but it was gorgeous!

I was so thankful for a trip like this! but so glad to be back home (except for the 100 degree weather!)
