A Delta Wedding!

(can you see the YELLOW PLANE!?)
5/15/21 (Happy Birthday Nona!)
We headed to the Delta!  Papa's old stomping grounds!
It was so nice to be back and visit!
I wish it hadn't have been such a busy weekend for us to visit more with family.... but one day!!

Land as far as the eye could see, crop dusting, tractor planting, old cars, slowed down tempo and the southern accents I love so, just about wraps it up!

Amelia and Odd Bods house playing!!!

The Bride and Groom coming to the reception in their cool old car!  Carson (groom) told me that it was his great great granddads!  Carson's dad drove it to high school and then parked it in a barn.  About 4 years ago Carson got it out and started tinkering and repairing and now he and Mia drive it everywhere!

Beautiful Mia with the boys!! !
Aunt Judy, Momma and Daddy
Aunt Judy and Daddy are siblings!
Traci and I!  My first cousin!  Her Mia is the one that got married!!
I loved the peaceful place they had for Carson and Mia to eat before they started visiting!!!

Amelia would say "I wanna pishure"
Then get ready for a selfie!  ha!!
They played and played!  And watched the crop duster and tractor pass by!!

Reid was obsessed with the car!

Taking "pishures"

Amelia gave me a ribbon!  ha!!!

The reception was in an old cotton gin!!!   The Gin of Dunleith in Leland, MS!

She is so funny!
I want my hair to be as beautiful as hers!  I mean, I think mine is WHITE underneath this color job, but I just hope it's as pretty!  Her and Mamaw got the best hair!

They were agitating each other saying they didn't want to get a picture!

They took pictures galore!
and they weren't 1/2 bad!!!

Pierce got the MOON!

The next morning Papa took us on a tour of his old stomping grounds!

Where he grew up!
His church!
I remember going here with Mamaw when I was little!  It was downtown!

Where Mamaw used to work!
We then visited the cemetery!!!

YELLOW BELTS!!!!!

The boys passed their first belt test on 5/14/21!!
We now are YELLOW belts!  They were so excited!!!!
