Columbus Day Weekend!!!

Mr. Bill & Mrs. Brenda came to visit for the long weekend! They got in late Friday night and left earlier on Monday morning! It was such a nice weekend. The weather was really pretty, a little hot for my taste, but it was pretty skies and a breeze! We got to have a lot of visiting time and I am so thankful! Sunday, we didn't even leave the house! :)

On Saturday we went to the Pink Palace Crafts Fair for a little while! It was really nice! They had a petting farm area. Lots of vendors with pottery, paintings, jewelry making, wood working and metal art! and even a tent just with food items to try and buy!


Oh my goodness! There was this vendor that did metal work! This was one of his cuties! :)
We loved it! I could have looked for hours! I looked for an owl but never saw one!

Kristin's Shower

Last Wednesday, the girls from work and I got together and gave Kristin a baby shower at our favorite restaurant, Bhan Thai! We had such a good time! I didn't even get any pictures of the attendees! but lots of the Momma to be! and one of the DELICIOUS cake made by Lisa!
Good Luck to Kristin, Mike and Baby Kim! (We can't wait to find out her name!) :)

A Tradition Passed on....

John and I can't wait for every year during Christmas when Momma has saved the wrapping paper tubes for us to sword fight!!

Sophie The Giraffe

Happy 10 Months Old!
We CAN NOT believe you are this old! This is our favorite time of year and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!! You are so aware of yourself and what is happening around you! I am constantly amazed at your speed of growth and learning ability!
You are just the sweetest little thing!

Accomplishments and Amazement's!

• You are standing on your own! and then PLOP, you fall down! You need a helmet until you get it mastered!!
  
• Still 8 teeth! but I believe that Mr. Drool is getting a few more right now! I got him a Sophie the Giraffe and he LOVES it! and I think it really helps!!
  
• You STILL LOVE outside! When you see us get our keys to unlock the door you are flapping your hands and laughing!
  
• You poop out of a diaper at least once or twice a day! I guess it is just all that good fruit we are feeding you!
• You are now eating BIG PEOPLE food, just soft!
  
• You love bananas, pears, yogurt, the chicken casserole your Daddy made for you, peas, green beans and you are coming around to the oatmeal!
• You STILL love animals!
• You have said "LILA!" and still say "Da-Da-Da" and some "Ma-Ma-Ma"!
• You are very quickly learning "NO" and minding us! We are so proud! but you are also "testing" us by just sticking your little finger to the item we are telling you to leave alone, looking at us and just SEEING if we will say "NO" again! and when we do, you step away and move on! :)
  
• You have 'ear bangs' as your Daddy calls them! Your hair is getting so long it is over your ears when we don't brush it back!
  
• You love the study that we have turned into your toy palace!
• You wave at EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, especially cars! Just this week, you waved at a woman in the grocery and she said "He waved at me FIRST, I didn't even have to speak to him!" :)
• You make EVERYONE smile!
• You SMILE still so much and I am so thankful for that!
• You are TRYING to really talk to us! "Dough-Dough, Tie-Tie", "oh-oh", "tat-tat" and point!
• You have really gotten into your trucks and tractors! Such a little boy!
  
• When we say "Yaaaaay!" You laugh and clap your hands!
• You are clapping a lot! Even when you are laying and lounging around in your crib before we get you up after sleeping!!
• You have been waving "bye bye" to Mommy when she leaves for Boot Camp in the mornings!
• When we say "bye bye" you instantly wave!
• You really are Mr. Personality!!

Mommy & Daddy are so in love with you! Thank you for being such a good boy, always! You are truly a joy and we are SO thankful for you! We don't know what we would do with out you in our lives!
We love you so much!
