A Funny!

This week, Pierce's school power went out.
When we were having dinner.... Brian and I just happened to say "I wonder why the power was out at the school this afternoon?"

Pierce told,  and I quote:
"Ryder's mom, said that on German Parkway, there was a car that hit a pole, in front of Uncle Donald's and there was smoke and fire and steam and THAT is why our lights were out at school!"

We laughed so hard.
but I did confirm with Miss Ashley (one of P's teachers).... Ryder's mom did come in and say on GermanTOWN Parkway, a car had hit a pole in front of MCDonalds and there was a lot of fire!

He listens!  Intently!

Pierce lost his tooth on 11/11/15 on the way home!

Reid's new FAVORITE shirt!

Miss Tammy, Mr Brad and Matthew and my circus tried to meet for a playdate.  I was so late of course it had started raining so we didn't get to play!  but the boys did play in my truck while we 3 adults stood under my lift gate in the back and talked!  This was Reid's birthday happy!  HE LOVED IT!  We wore it the next day! (11/12/15)

and he has asked to wear it AGAIN tomorrow!  (11/13/15)

Imagination!

Reid has such an imagination!  The cheerios container was the blender.  The pumpkin on top was the lid to the blender.  The pumpkin on the floor was a "stirrer"   The lotion added flavor.  The fingernail polish was salt and pepper.  The light toy was for lighted fun in the blender.  And the play phone was clicks of freshness!

It made, in the end, my Pumpkin Milkshake COOKIE!!!!!!!!

The Grove, Dog "Sitting" and Soccer!

We had a busy FUN Saturday!

 First it was the Soccer game for Pierce!  Reid was under his homemade tent the whole time!  :) 

 Then we headed to Oxford to The Grove to visit with our friends!  It rained and was quite yucky but it was so much fun to be back in the midst of it all!  I do miss it!  

 It is so different now....there are shuttles now taking you from off campus site areas to The Grove!  I'm so used to just jumping a curb and finding our "stakes" in The Grove or The Circle that it was kind of a strange feeling!  The boys loved the buses, of course!

Then when every one went to the game we headed back to Memphis to check on my friend Brit's pup dog, Levi!  The boys had a BLAST playing with him!  He was so good!  He didn't jump on the boys ONCE and they let him chase them all over the yard!

Toys R Us

After haircuts we went to Toys R Us (11/6/15) to see if we could find things for Santa to bring us!

 Reid found every "friend" he wanted!

He even said "Me have LOTS of friends"

The boys were really great and understanding that they could hold it in the store and then we had to put it back so Santa could find and it possibly bring it to them!  :) 

 They played on the train table that was set up for LOTS of minutes, as they would say!
