Spring!!

I believe is here, even though it is super chilly today!!! and my favorite flower is making its debut in our yard! LOVE IT!!

Meet......

Owen!!!!
Yesterday, I took the day off and traveled to Jonesboro, AR to visit with my friend Shannon & her little boy, Owen! She has Fridays off so I invaded her day!! We has such a good day!!!! I mean, I literally stayed all day!!! We talked and talked & TALKED, we ate and we might have eaten some more, ;), and we were entertained by Mr. Owen!!! Owen will be 2 in July and this is my first time to meet him! He is so good!!! and a sweetie!! Shannon kept telling me "He has totally taken to Miss Stacy". He crawled up in my lap and took his nap and I was in heaven! I got a "few" pictures of him! He was really good on his 1st photo shoot with me!!!

Country Living!

We traveled to Paris for a quick visit, this past weekend. And while there we got to take in some good ole country, clean, fresh air!! It does revive the soul!!!

Spring is here! because We had a new baby calf! We walked out into the pasture for me to get a closer view and of course take some pictures!! :) Sooo cute!!!

Downtown Paris parking meters that were sold back in the 90s (I believe), and Momma went and picked up two and they were in front of John and I's parking places growing up! :) We THANKFULLY didn't have to put change in it when we came home, but if Momma had thought of it, she MIGHT have made us! :)

Rosemary & Feathers Galore!

My family friend, Sis, who actually lives down the road from my parents, happens to have Peacocks! You KNOW I love the peacock feathers! Well, Lo & Behold she found out & gave me a HUGE bundle of feathers, ohhhhhh about a year ago and I have never gotten around to cleaning them, drying them and using them! So, today, I was off for working the weekend and I decided....I am gonna clean those suckers and put them on my mantel for decoration! I bet I had over 100 feathers! I dipped them in the tub filled of hot soapy water, swished them around, rinsed them, put them in front of my heater, and let them dry! I think it took me about 3 hours to accomplish! but I think they look pretty spectacular on my mantel!!!

and this is my rosemary! I discovered the other afternoon that it had gotten so big in my front yard that it was smothering my buttercups and they couldn't come up! so, I went to trimming....I just couldn't throw it away, so I made this bouquet and a bouquet for me to have at work and then B & I took the rest to our coworkers!

I just LOVE rosemary and the way it smells!!!

Flowers!!!

My sweet, sweet In Laws, Mr. Bill & Mrs. Brenda, got me this awesome birthday gift..... every month I get to go by one of our local florist and pick up the Flower of the Month!!! It is the Flower of the Month club!!!! I get to have fresh flowers and make my day EVERY time I walk in the house EVERY MONTH!!!! It literally does make my day! Who doesn't love fresh flowers!? I am so thankful for it!!!
I love it! It is the best gift ever!!!

I just wanted to share some of those flowers and enjoyment with ya'll!!!! :)

This is February's flowers.....I think they are just gorgeous! It is a mix of everything, and so far, I think they are my favorite!!!! They are so full!!! :)

These are January's flowers! :) They were a beautiful burnt orange-y color. One of my favorite!!! Who can dislike roses right??

These were Decembers flowers! I think everyone of my friends LOVES tulips! I think they are great! I even got to take these to Ocean Springs for Christmas/New Years! Mr. Bill & Mrs. Brenda got to enjoy them too! :)

These were Novembers flowers! I do love mums! They are so fallish and pretty! I got to take these home to share with my family over Thanksgiving! They made a pretty center piece to my Mom's kitchen table!! :)

and unfortunately October's flower pictures are MIA! I can't find them anywhere! and I KNOW I took pictures of them! I take pictures of ALL of them multiple times! I love my pictures!! :) anyways, they were pretty little lilies that lasted FOREVER!!!

These are September's flowers! Again, the mums, I love them!!!! I thought these were the neatest color!!!!



Because my Birthday is pretty much one of the last few days in August, I didn't get to start getting my flowers until September, but I will enjoy it right up until my 31st birthday!


Who knows, maybe they will renew it for me and I can have another year of BEAUTIFUL flowers!!!
