P's 1st Hitchin'

my friend Sarah got married today....
and it was P's 1st "hitchin'".
He didn't do 1/2 bad.
but unfortunately, Mommy here didn't get but these pictures!
We had a good time..... while it lasted....as you can see in the family picture he is trying to throw himself to the floor! ;)
but it was a beautiful scene as you can see! :)
We wish Bob & Sarah all the happiness in the world!

8 months!

Oh how time is flying!!!
Happy 8 months old today Pierce!!!

Accomplishments and Amazement's!

• He has 5 teeth now! 4 on the bottom and one coming in on the top as we speak!
• He is doing a GREAT Downward Facing Dog position like in Yoga!
• He makes the fish face all the time!
  
• He has definitely started to cry when we leave the room! :(
• He is knee crawling along with STILL Army crawling!
• Smiling, SMILING, S-M-I-L-I-N-G!!!
• LOVES LOVES LOVES outside! (and good Lord, I have been taking him out in this heat!)
• Waving up a storm! Really flapping his fingers!
• Saying "DaDa" a TON!!!
  
• Will have a whole conversation to/with his hands and the toys that he is playing with!
• LOVES LOVES LOVES the water! Bath-time is like a marathon!
• LOVES LOVES LOVES animals! Squeals every time he sees a dog, cat or bird!! He wants to touch Sophie so bad, but she is just not having it yet!
  
• Is truly happy when he feels good, is full and is dry! We are really blessed with a happy baby!

We love you so much and can't believe how fast these 8 months have gone by! We hope you have had as much fun as we have! You make us so happy! You are a true joy!

Happenings!

The past 2 weeks have been crazy!!!
MJ was on vacation and then P decided to get a 102 fever the NEXT week, so Grandmom P had to come down and help relieve Mommy & Daddy!
We are NOW on the mend and HOPEFULLY will be back to ourselves these next few weeks!
I haven't had time to blog, but I have taken a few pictures.........

Immediately after changing is diaper, right after the above picture, I picked him up and his eyes closed INSTANTLY! I knew then he was tired! but I would be too if I had only had about 15 minutes of sleep since 1:30 AM this morning! I should be doing what he is doing, but I can't sleep on demand! :)

The Girls & I at University threw Sarah a wedding shower yesterday, at Bhan Thai! Her Mom came, who is a butterfly farmer and had us butterflies to release! It was so cool! We had a blast and even had a Wedding Cake Shot in honor of the bride! :)

You stuck your finger into the envelope and let the butterfly suction to your finger, then you brought him out of the envelope! Mine immediately flew off, he didn't want to stay around and meet me! :) It was such a neat experience! Sarah's Mom was great! and so informative! She does kids parties! Guess who is going to do it!? P! :)

Funnies & Fun

Several stories I have been meaning to blog about for the past few weeks....so, I'll just combine them!

MJ tells me several weeks ago while they were on their multiple daily walks in the 6 seated stroller that P got pooped on by a bird! Thankfully it was not on his head or near his hands that he would immediately put in his mouth but on the back of his shoulder! I said "well, one embarrassing thing to happen to him already over with in his 1st 6months of life!" :)

Yesterday, Mr. P was having a bad afternoon. We believe it is 2 more teeth that are trying to break the skin. They are the 2 beside the two bottom ones he got @ 4 months old! Anyways...I took him on a walk, yes, yesterday, in the blistering 102 degree weather with 115 degree heat index. But the minute we stepped outside, he was content. I said I would walk until the next morning if he would just be content and not feel bad. :) Long story short, we came in, we were both sweating, I sat us down on the floor, and I had my Bubba Keg full of water next to us. I started to pull water up in the straw and fill his mouth with it. We did that for, pretty much, a million times, and he started sucking it out of the end of the straw that I was releasing it in his mouth with. So, I thought, I'll put this back in the Bubba Keg and see if he will drink. And guess what? HE DID! He master a straw in one afternoon! This morning when we did it again, we had to practice some more, but he is getting it! So proud of him! :) I told John he master a feat on John's birthday! (7/11/11) :)

then this morning we were having our breakfast together. Me having a piece of toast, bacon and a small glass of Chocolate Silk; P having his carrot and peas..... :) I was just about to put a spoon full of carrots in and IN FLEW a gnat!!! P clamped his mouth down and I never saw the gnat again! I screamed, P stared at me, then I started to laugh, P started his "Kkkkkkk"ing, I reported "well, that has to be good protein", and we went on about our business! :)
