Stories....

(I decided the other night that I kind of needed to treat the blog like a baby book since I have not been GREAT at filling out P's baby book.... (maybe one day).....so I have been keeping a post-it full of stories....I was running out room on the piece of paper, so I decided to share!)

The other night P was in the tub. He has started pulling up and standing at the edge and he and I playing with his bath time animals from the beach bucket. All of a sudden, P started pee pee'ing. He stopped his chatter, looked at me, looked down, looked back up and then smiled! finished pee pee'ing and went back to his chatter! It was hilarious! I laughed so hard at him, because it was like "what? wait? what is that noise? am I making that noise!!?" and then it was the feeling of "Ahhhh, much better"! HA!!!

before B & I headed to bed the other night, we checked in on Pierce. When we got in there he had his head up on the bumper and his butt was in the air! I swear it couldn't have been comfortable! :) He is DEFINITELY his Daddy's child, he is a MOVER & SHAKER in the bed and doesn't even know it! He is ALLLL over the crib!!!

Brian had told me several times when he was at any store with P it was like there was a P parade. I had not gotten to experience that yet. Well, the other day, I did! We were in Sam's and LITERALLY, when we are coming down the isles, people just stop and wave! It is like we ARE the parade! ;) He is just so cute, people can't help but look at him! ;)

OH MY GOODNESS....so, now that he has 4 teeth on bottom and 3 teeth on top (and the 4th one on top is coming on in too)....he is GRITTING his teeth! eek!!! Driving Mommy nuts!!!! :)

P is talking up a storm, as I have said before. but literally he sounds like he is really carrying on a conversation! It is great! and he uses little hand motions and all like "Yea! that is what I am trying to say!" He is getting so big! too fast!!!

in a later post I will post these pictures, but I don't have them yet! Momma entered Mr. P in the Henry County Fair baby picture contest! He won in 2 divisions! Our little celeb!!!! He has ribbons and ALL!

P's 1st Hitchin'

my friend Sarah got married today....
and it was P's 1st "hitchin'".
He didn't do 1/2 bad.
but unfortunately, Mommy here didn't get but these pictures!
We had a good time..... while it lasted....as you can see in the family picture he is trying to throw himself to the floor! ;)
but it was a beautiful scene as you can see! :)

8 months!

Oh how time is flying!!!
Happy 8 months old today Pierce!!!

Accomplishments and Amazement's!

• He has 5 teeth now! 4 on the bottom and one coming in on the top as we speak!
• He is doing a GREAT Downward Facing Dog position like in Yoga!
• He makes the fish face all the time!
  
• He has definitely started to cry when we leave the room! :(
• He is knee crawling along with STILL Army crawling!
• Smiling, SMILING, S-M-I-L-I-N-G!!!
• LOVES LOVES LOVES outside! (and good Lord, I have been taking him out in this heat!)
• Waving up a storm! Really flapping his fingers!
• Saying "DaDa" a TON!!!
  
• Will have a whole conversation to/with his hands and the toys that he is playing with!
• LOVES LOVES LOVES the water! Bath-time is like a marathon!
• LOVES LOVES LOVES animals! Squeals every time he sees a dog, cat or bird!! He wants to touch Sophie so bad, but she is just not having it yet!
  
• Is truly happy when he feels good, is full and is dry! We are really blessed with a happy baby!

We love you so much and can't believe how fast these 8 months have gone by! We hope you have had as much fun as we have! You make us so happy! You are a true joy!

Happenings!

The past 2 weeks have been crazy!!!
MJ was on vacation and then P decided to get a 102 fever the NEXT week, so Grandmom P had to come down and help relieve Mommy & Daddy!
We are NOW on the mend and HOPEFULLY will be back to ourselves these next few weeks!
I haven't had time to blog, but I have taken a few pictures.........

Immediately after changing is diaper, right after the above picture, I picked him up and his eyes closed INSTANTLY! I knew then he was tired! but I would be too if I had only had about 15 minutes of sleep since 1:30 AM this morning! I should be doing what he is doing, but I can't sleep on demand! :)
