Weekend Getaway!!!

The first weekend in May, we went to Paris!  Just a quick weekend get away to see everyone!  The only thing we had plans for was Momma & I go to my friend Mandy's baby shower!  It was so much fun seeing her and I also got to visit with some other girls from High School and see their children!  Mandy and I have been together since Preschool!  and I was bummed when I got home and remembered I had forgotten to get a picture of us together.  I mean, we are pregnant at the same time!  It would have been perfect!  But at least we got to visit for a little bit and Momma got to visit with Mandy's Momma, Mrs Paula!  Friends for a long time!  Then we piddled the rest of the weekend!  Trying to stay cool!  We did venture over to Fort Donselon in Dover, TN.  It was so pretty!  and a fun outing!  We didn't want to leave on Sunday at all!  We never want to leave family!

On Saturday afternoon we drove over to Fort Donselson and let P run his legs off!  It was warm but we did spot an Eagle!  :)

Accomplishment

I just have to share, because I am so proud!!  Besides the sweet fish face kisses, I have a little BOY (which I have heard horror stories about HOW long they take) that is trying to potty train!  I haven't wanted to talk about it much, because I don't want to jinx us, but I have to document this, so that I remember!  :)  and since I am not so great on the baby book, but better on here, I am going to share!  :)
For the past couple of weeks....at night, before bath time we are talking with P about "Do you need to potty? Would you Pee Pee in the potty?  Do you need to Pee Pee??"  and one night, he simply sat down on his little potty (backwards I might add, but WHO IS JUDGING!?) and pee pee'd!!!  B and I were in SHOCK!  the next night and several other nights, he sat down on it but didn't pee pee.  Last night we had a mishap, we STOOD beside the potty like a big boy and pee pee'd.  We missed the potty but I am just so thrilled that we are GETTING somewhere at 17months!!!  He is growing up so fast! Keeping my fingers crossed it keeps up and that is this smooth with baby #2!!!  :)  

Happy Mother's Day!

What a wonderful Mother's Day I had!  I really was treated ALL weekend!  Saturday B & P let me choose where I would like to eat.....Mellow Mushroom was my choice!  SO YUMMY! P was a gentleman at dinner and enjoyed his salad & pizza too!  Then we went and found a Splash Park....and even though no water was being splashed they had a "dry" park that was near by and we played on the swings and slides and said "Weeee" a whole lot!  Sunday I was feeling under the weather some, so we relaxed and enjoyed each other at the house!  I was showered with gifts and flowers!  and kisses and hugs!!!  P is giving the best kisses right now, he is making a fish face and just smacking you right on the lips!  I was so thankful for my day AND weekend and for my wonderful family!  

Makes me hope that I can be just like my Momma!  B & I are both so thankful for our mother's too!  Thank you so much for all you have done for us!!  We love you!!!

and I also guess you could say I am a Mother to THIS bundle that is on the way!  I am a mother of 2!  INSANE!  ;)  (I am 22 weeks!)  

I'm losing it.....

 my friend Leslie noticed this today at work, AT LUNCH time of ALL times.....yep, I went all the morning without noticing until SHE pointed it out! I was embarrassed BUT thought it was so funny!!! and no, I didn't dress in the dark.....I am losing it!  ;)

Info!

Today we had our 1st Ultrasound with Baby B2!  

I was so nervous, all I wanted to hear was "things are looking good!"

and THANKFULLY that is just what we heard!  :)

and then as an added bonus, we wanted to know the Gender! 

Well, the Little Toot, WOULD NOT uncross its legs, so we STILL DO NOT KNOW the gender!

and because they found all the measurements they needed to make sure Baby B2 was healthy, they would not do another Ultrasound JUST for gender.  Boo!

B and I have been thinking, we might go to an outside facility, pay out of pocket and see what they can tell us!

I just really can't stand it - I WANT TO KNOW!!!!!  :)
