I have so much to write about in this blog post!
So many fun, sweet, happy and just heart warming things!!
We went to Paris for an extended time, more than our usual fly in for one whole day of a weekend!
While there I got to celebrate a very close friend. MANY years we have been together! :) She is having a bundle of joy! A Sweet Little Boy! :)
We got to visit the hog barns again with this set of piggies! Pierce ate 4 Popsicles in the process!
We got to be outside SOME! It was warm, then cold, then windy, then sunny!
anyways.... enjoy.......
:)
On our travels there, we had a fender bender! In Milan TN.
I couldn't have asked for a nicer man to hit us!
I am NOT really sure he would have been that nice but the minute he saw Pierce and Reid, he turned into a perfect gentleman!!
It scared Reid to death. Pierce was soooooo good! I couldn't have BEGGED for him to have been better!
When I was explaining that a policeman had to come he said "Are we going to jail?"
In my head "UM, WHAT? HOW and WHY are you asking me that!?"
My answer: "No sweetie, he has to write up our accident report"
Pierce: "What's a report?"
Me: "an accident. Accidents happen, Babe"
Pierce the rest of the time: "Accidents happen, Momma!" (I had someone tell me this weekend that sentence would come back to haunt me!) ;)
And before the policeman released us both Pierce yelled "THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING MAD AT US!" The man didn't hear him but I bet he would have loved it!!! :)
Bless him, he was just trying to go home from work! :(
(side note: the policeman couldn't write our report for locals honking at him and saying "hi!" - Small Town America!)
and I am thinking he thought "WHAT IS THIS CRAZY WOMAN TAKING?" because I kept saying "Happy Friday huh?" and IT WAS WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!!! Geez! Blonde moment number 952 million!
anyways, my truck doesn't look NEARLY as bad as his! He had to pull his bumper out of his tire before leaving!
I was shook up and a little sore the next day but so thankful we were ok! :)
Pierce riding his own Gator! I wish Reid would ride with him, but he isn't quite interested! And maybe he SHOULDN'T right now, because Pierce is kind of dangerous!! ;)
Pierce helped Nona feed her birds with his Gator! :)
LOVED hauling it for her!
Look at that face........
Reid got into it later too! :)
Several nights/afternoons, Mr. Jerry came to get Pierce to go "feeeeeed cows, with hay in the froooont, and the baaaaack, I learned to honk the horn, I turned the lights onnnnnnnnnn, and I GOT TO DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Mr Jerry said "he isn't so great at keeping it in the road" WELL, HE IS 3!!!!!!!! :)
We went to our little catfish restaurant! After Uncle John taught him how to put ketchup on the hush-puppies, HE WAS HOOKED!!!!
While there, you get to feed their animals! They KNOW what you are doing and come running! There are sheep, goats, ducks and an emu! :) The emu bit Uncle John!
Us all in shock after Uncle John got bit! :)
Hi Sweet Sheep! Can you see the baby to the left background!?? They were so cute!!! :)
I think it was after this afternoon that after Papa got everyone with their coats off and back in the house for the afternoon he looked like he might be wanting to pull his hair out....I said to the boys "Ok boys, I think we have worn them down in one day, I think we need to go back to Memphis!" Papa this says "Oh man, I hate to see ya'll go!!" ha!!! WE WORE THEM OUT!!!!!!!!!!
Pierce helping Papa mow!!!
The boys and Papa watching an old black and white western.... Pierce said "this is my favorite!" :)
HAPPY St. Patty's Day in our JOHN DEERE green!!!!
While piddling, we looked at old pictures.... this is my MeeMaw with her sisters! I loved how someone captured them laughing, because they used to do that A LOT together! :)
Ellen's Shower was so much fun!
We scheduled it to start at 2 so that we could end the shower and go right into enjoying each others company and visiting way into the night! :)
She looks so beautiful to me! So "glowy" as people say!
We had a great time! and of course I loved the "mustaches" :)
a group fave: Cucumber Sandwiches!
Us trying to get the pack and play together! EEK!!!
BowTie napkins with forks! :)
Amy and her Pinterest addiction made this all so cute!!!!!! :)
Ellen and her Momma!
Amy and her cute little girl Brooklyn!
and oh my gosh! so, AFTER the darn shower I realized we NEVER put the corsage on her!!! so we made her wear it to dinner and for our visit!!!! :)
We went to dinner at one of the Mexican restaurants! They were so sweet and fixed Elle a pretty "virgin" Margarita! :)

Feeding the cows! :)
These beautiful flowers were delivered TO ME while I was home! I was like "Huh? From who? What for?" Daddy said "just open the card!"
Front of the card: "A Special Request for my Future Sister In Law"
Inside: My special day will not be complete, unless I have you standing by my side. Please say you will be my Matron of Honor!"
They were from DANA!
I was in COMPLETE shock! I was like "NO WAY!"
I was and feel so honored! I am so excited about their special day!!!
John is one lucky guy, if I do say so myself!!!
One afternoon Pierce fell asleep with his water gun! One minute he was talking up a storm and Papa was about to stick a fork in HIMSELF because he had done all he could do to get him to lay still and then we looked over and he was OUT! :)
Pig Farm Time....
Pedro!!
The EARS!!!!! :)
and this is back in Memphis! As if we haven't been out side ENOUGH! :) They wanted to go out side when we got home! So....I let them! :)
Thank you Papa and Nona for letting us stay for an EXTENDED time! I know ya'll are needing to recoup! But we had such a good time! and of COURSE, it flew by, why would it be any other way!?? I honestly HATE that it does that, but like they say "Time FLIES when you are having FUN!" I appreciate ya'll so much! and I don't know what I would do with out ya'll!
I love you so much!
Until next time...... REST UP! :)
