With the above picture, I begin....
I am not usually a negative blog poster, because I don't have anything to be negative about, but this may come across negative, as I tell the journey of our Christmas countdown. Honestly I am doing it for MY memory... and by the way, the subject line has a bit of sarcasm in it....if you couldn't tell! ;)
Thursday (12/20/12). Reid wakes up with one of his eyes swollen and matted shut. To the doctor we go that afternoon to find out he has Pink Eye.... or as my friend Blair's nephew Graham says "Pank" ....so we have the "Pank Eye" in our house! Drops prescribed.....
Friday (12/21/12). We are all home from daycare because of the Pank Eye. P wasn't quite right all day. And boy were we right about him not being right, because that night he proceeds to projectile vomit that night EVERY where -- on me, on b, on the couch, in the bathroom! I felt so sorry for him, it scared him to death because he didn't know what was going on. He hasn't thrown up before. He kept stomping his feet and wiping his tongue with his hands.
Saturday (12/22/12). P seemed better but Reid seemed "off". We got to visit with Court & Todd for several hours that day, as they were on their way through town to see his parents! We were so excited to see them! and to get to visit! It went by too fast and I hated for them to leave! And Court looked PRECIOUS with her small baby bump! Monroe got to visit too! He and Sophe even touched noses with out a catastrophe!!! :)
But the last 1/2 of their visit, Reid cried non stop!

Sunday (12/23/12). I was so excited because GrandMom & GrandDad P and Uncle John and Dana came down for the day to visit and do Christmas! But of course, in 2012 fashion, P started running 102 fever and was really not feeling up to anything. He did enjoy opening presents though!
He kept the fever all night, even with Tylenol. We knew a visit to the doctor was in our future. :) again...

Monday (12/24/12). Everyone woke up in a funky funk funk. Not feeling well at all. Doctors appt was made for 9AM that morning. P wouldn't stop crying all morning, it was quite pitiful. Even at the doctors office he just sat in the chair with me and Reid and cried. I feel for those ladies in the office, they hear this ALL DAY LONG. P is checked out.... and found to have a double ear infection. Yay. Meds prescribed and off to home we go. To rest? maybe. ;)

Tuesday (12/25/12). SANTA CAME!!!!! finding his Choo Choo from Santa..... ;)

This was the time, of the Santa finding!... we had actually been up since 5AM because bless P, he woke up crying....and crying... like he had been the past week. He just didn't feel well.....

and can I just say.....I am not feeling well, during the day..... and Reid had quit eating. He was also sneezing and coughing and choking on his snot and what not. yay. again.
Wednesday (12/26/12). I am feeling 10 times worse. I go to our local Kroger Doc In the Box, and yep, I have the flu. again, yay. Meds prescibed. (seeing a pattern here?) While I was filling my meds I decided it would be good to go ahead and fill Reid's (Dr Z saw in our future that Reid would need them, and he did, so he went ahead and gave me a script for him to fill when I needed it -again, I love their doctor!). I get home and after Reid FINALLY eats a bottle I was like "GREAT I can start his meds" I get them out of the frig ONLY to discover that they didn't mix them, it was still the powder. I cried, of course. I cried alot that day. P thought something was really wrong with me, it bothered him. It was quite sweet. I didn't feel well, and I honestly haven't felt that bad in a long time. I called the Pharmacy, they noted their mistake and said for us to bring it back up there for them to fix. B took it back up there after he got home from work. They gave us Kroger coupons for our trouble. :)
Oh yes, and by the way.....it snowed some! It was quite pretty. I just wish we all had felt better to have enjoyed it!
Thursday (12/27/12). P is back to his 100%. He woke up this morning singing and talking in the bed like he normally does. No CRYING! :) Reid is some better, just continuing his meds. Me, I am back to about 65%. I mean, I am able to blog, so that is a positive thing! ;)
and if we can keep B from getting this mess! ..... we will be good to go!!!
I'll look back at this one day.... and laugh!
SO MAYBE we can ring in the New Year with HEALTH!!!!!!
