Christmas in Paris!

I love to say "I just got back from Christmas in Paris!"  Jet setting right?  :) 

We did just get back!  It FLEW by.  When we were leaving, Daddy said "I feel like you have been here 30 minutes!"  I agreed, it went by too fast!  Completely too fast! 

Besides Mr. Reider not sleeping, the weather being rather scary and poor Uncle John having to work every night into the wee hours of the night.... it was a really really fun time!

This year especially, I thought about all the times that we traveled to Mamaw's house in Ruleville for Christmas and how chaotic we could be....THAT is what I am now doing to my parents!  Whew!  I need them to take care of themselves so we can bother them for a long time like we did Mamaw and MeeMaw!  :)

Here are a few things we did...

So, the weather was completely WEIRD for December, and it was 70ish, windy, cloudy and humid!  The boys got to play out in the "dirt" pile!  

Pierce was in heaven......Reid, well, he ate it more than played in it!  :)

Momma and I went through alot of information she found on Ancestry.com, family scrapbooks that family has let us borrow and we took pictures of the pictures- they turned out great!.....she has found so many interesting things! I love how she has become "addicted" to it!  I LOVE to hear about what she has found!  Now, don't get me wrong she has to REPEAT it too me so many times, I am sure she is sick of it, but it is SO hard to keep it straight that she has gotten back as far as 4 great grandparents for me!  The picture above is my Granddaddy.  My Daddy's Daddy!  Handsome man.  :)

     

 Pierce rode my old tricycle a billion times!  He loved it!  Worked off any calories he took in! :)

Oh!  A highlight for Pierce.  Mr Jerry, or sometimes he says Uncle Jerry, came to get him in the tractor and they went to feed his cows!  Prior to him coming to get him, we saw him pass the house in the tractor to go and feed someone else's cows and we called him.  He told us he would be back.  We told Pierce and he was like "No, I want to stay here and play dirts"   BUT the minute that BIG TRACTOR was backing down the driveway to get him.... he literally dropped his track hoe and said "Bye bye dirts!"  :)  Jerry was impressed he didn't cry for anyone and he talked the whole time!  :)  

 There they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out in the field feeding!  :) 

Reid, Papa and I went to get Pierce..... this is Reid entertaining himself in the mirror while we waited and watched!  :)

I didn't take many pictures, but we had a great time, got some wonderful gifts, ate REALLY good food.... but like I said, I wish it hadn't have flown by, but I am already planning another trip to take more pictures and visit longer!  :)
