4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!
I had a really fun weekend this weekend! Saturday B & I thought we would try and go some where different to see fireworks.....we went Downtown. It was definitely a different experience. TONS more people than we are used to and of COURSE there had to be an "issue" with the crowd....on down the street from us, a bystander decided to set off his own fireworks and caught the park on fire....the fire trucks had to come and put it out.....I got video of it on my camera, I will try to post that soon also! Only in Memphis right? ha! and of course the people watching was AMAZING! :)
Also, this weekend, Julie & David came to town to see Brooklyn and to 'pend the night with B & I! We got to spend the afternoon and some of the evening with Joe & Amy and Brooklyn! It was such a good time just sitting around with good friends! It makes you appreciate who you have in your life! Enjoy the below pictures! Brooklyn has gotten so big, 6 weeks old this week! TIME FLIES!!!

Family & Friends

This past weekend I got a couple of awesome treats!!

#1 my friend Katrina came by work with her SWEET SWEET little girl Kennedy on Friday! I got to spend ~30minutes looking at her, holding her and kissing all over her! She is a sweetie!!! It was awesome to see you Katrina! WE WILL GET TOGETHER!! ;)

# 2: my awesome In-Laws came into town for a visit for the weekend! We had such a good time with them here! I was really upset when the weekend was over and realized I didn't have very many pictures of the weekend with them and ya'll know how I love to take me some pictures. But I like the below pictures that I got..... The one of Mrs. Brenda & Mr. Bill is while B is grilling for us and my camera had not gotten used to the heat or humidity and it was all foggy, but it reminds me of a summer hazy day with family! :) and the two tech people in the family sitting together with their IPODs exchanging secrets; I loved it!!! :) (and do you love B's T-Shirt or what? ha!!) But we had such a good time, like I said before! Mrs Brenda helped me and taught me how to use my Grandmother's (aka Mamaw) sewing machine. I was way timid at first but by the end of the time, I think I got the hang of it!! We also got to go to an antique store while the boys piddled together!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!! Thank you so much Mrs Brenda for helping me with Mamaw's sewing machine! I'm really going to be making things soon! hopefully.... :) and Mamaw was so excited that we enjoyed! and I LOVED the antiqueing that we did! I just appreciate ya'll so much and enjoy your company greatly! I love ya'll!!!!

Friends!

Hi everyone! Meet my 9month old friend Whitten!!! Whitten Claire! Isn't she precious!? This Friday night her Mom & Dad (Audra & Marty) and her went out to eat with B & I! She was so good at the restaurant! and I even got to hold her while Mommy finished eating!!! She has gotten so big and has such a fun cute personality already! Thanks for going to eat with us guys, we had an awesome time! Love ya'll!!

Oh and I love this picture of Sophe peeking around the couch.....she was like "what is that little person, I have never been around one of them!!" ha!!

Wedding Fun!

This weekend we went to Madison, Mississippi for a wedding of a close family friend of B's family!! It was such a beautiful day! Kacey, the youngest of the 3 girls that B & Jason grew up with, was the one getting hitched! She looked so beautiful (and so did the rest of the group!)!! We had a good time and I enjoyed hearing stories of when the girls and boys were together when they were younger!!! Thanks for the invite ya'll! Ya'll are the sweetest!!!

Brooklyn Avery!

Is HERE!!!! Born May 23rd, 2009 @ 910am. 7lbs & 12oz. She is super adorable!!! We got to go have a quick visit with them this morning at the hospital! She had her first photo shoot with Aunt Stacy! Check out the entire visit in the Photo section of the website!! Congrats to Joe & Amy on making such a beautiful little girl!!! Love ya'll!!

Recent Happenings....

This past weekend I was able to go home to Paris, for a 4 day weekend. I went to visit with family, celebrate Momma's birthday and just to be at home.... in and around the country side of life, away from the rat race of a city.... for a while! It was definitely refreshing!!!! And yes, for those of you wondering, I did get to see Baby while I was home! ;) Mom, Dad and I were able to eat at Paulette's (and yes, for you all that know about the cake at Paulette's, we DID have a piece of Strawberry Cake - YUMMY!) and then Mom & I headed to Murray, KY for piddling on her birthday. We also were able to ride around KenLake and see the pretty landscape and we happened upon a HUGE bird's nest (3rd picture down) on the bridge crossing the Tennessee River! Insanely big!!! :) It was a fabulous weekend and I was so glad I was able to be there! I am so thankful for my family! I don't know what I would do with out them! They are my life and I love them so much!

THEN! (this is exciting and fun news!) Over this same fun weekend our friends Courtney & Todd got a new addition to their household.......a Daschund PUPPY!!! B & I got to meet him Monday night on his last walk before bedtime! He is so stinking cute & I just wanted to bite him and squeeze his little paws to death!!! :) Meet Monroe!!!!!!!!! :)

Also, no word on when Miss Brooklyn Avery will arrive! I will keep you all posted!!! :) Her room is waiting on her!!!
